Yes, provided the browser and device have enough resources. Long files use memory-managed section processing rather than decoding the whole soundtrack at once.
Can I convert 5.1 audio to MP3?
Yes. When stereo output is selected, FFmpeg downmixes the source before LAME encodes the MP3.
Does it work with high-resolution FLAC?
Yes. Supported high-sample-rate sources are decoded by FFmpeg and resampled to the selected MP3 output rate.
